Theories of Ooo

A blog dedicated to fan theories about Adventure Time. You can ask us (Alisyn and Alex) a question about the show, or submit a theory you have.

Please note that this is NOT a confession blog. We have another AT blog, adventure-time-confess, for confessions!

If you want to only see the theory posts (graphics, pictures, whatever you want to call them), add "/tagged/adventure+time+theories" to our URL.

What's the lollipop girl, abracadaniel, and choose goose ship?

Lollicagoose? Abracachoosepop? Honestly, although it was shown briefly in “All the Little People”, I don’t believe it’s been officially named. - Alisyn

When will betty ever return?

She has a mission, to find a way to break Ice King’s curse. I don’t have a reason why she wouldn’t return if and when she finds it. She may not return in the near future though. ~Alex

Have you noticed how glob with his four faces resembles the Hindu god Brahma, the god of creation?

That’s actually a really cool comparison, and it’s totally possible that Brahma is who Grob Gob Glob Grod was based off. - Alisyn

In the episode "Mystery Dungeon" we see the life-giving wizard give life to Ice King's fanfic book. Later, in the episode "Little Dude" we find out that everything the wizard touches turns evil. Wouldn't that make the book evil and trouble causing?

The personality of the objects the Magi gives life to depends on his mood at the time. When he’s mad/evil, the objects turn evil, but he wasn’t really mad when he gave life to the book, so it didn’t turn evil. ~Alex

Ok Princess Day was totally a Thelma and Louise parody. And I loved it. The canyon part hit me in the feels and made me smile. :)

We noticed that too, and several people sent asks pointing the similarity out, and I thought it was really cool and interesting too. - Alisyn

At the end of Lemonhope part two didn't Princess Bubblegum say the earl is going back to being alone, his only "stable social structure" or something? What going to happen to the lemon people? Are they going to die or be taken into the candy kingdom?

I’m thinking that she meant ruling alone, not like living completely by himself, so the Lemon People would stay in the Earldom. ~Alex

I noticed that the Peace Master looks a lot like Ron James from Wizards Only Fools, are they the same person?

I noticed the resemblance too, but if you take a closer look at both of them, Ron James has a nose, but the Peace Master doesn’t. Also, the Peace Master’s skin is greyish and Ron James’ skin is more of a lime color. - Alisyn

(Don’t be so pretentious, he’s f***ing green. ~Alex)

Princess bubblegum only does things that benefit her kingdom. Why would she rebuild lemongrab after he exploded? Does she see potential?

Not so much potential, but more along the lines of a simple purpose. The Lemon Earldom needs a ruler, so Princess Bubblegum pieced the scraps of Lemongrabs 1 & 2 back together to create a third Lemongrab to rule said earldom. - Alisyn

Remember in the episode "Puhoy," when Finn traveled to the pillow world, and grew old? And its implied that he didn't remember it when he came back to Ooo? A few episodes later, in "Princess Potluck," Finn exclaims "Puhoy" when Ice King attacks, implying he remembers. Perhaps he locked it in his mental vault so he wouldn't feel bad about the whole thing.

Something screwy was going on with the time in that episode, that’s for sure. It’s possible there could be memories of Pillow World somewhere in Finn’s brain, possibly in his memory vault. (If he has memories from that experience at all.) I don’t remember him saying ‘Puhoy’, however, do you have a video link where you could point out the time at which he says it? - Alisyn
